Kleiman, Lowell

Lowell Kleiman is Academic Chair of the philosophy department at Suffolk County Community College of the State University of New York and a member of the Eastern Division American Philosophical Association and of the Long Island Philosophical Society. His publications include articles in ethics, philosophy of language, religion and science, as well as recent book reviews in philosophy of perception and mind. Currently he is working in the area of philosophy of music which is of more than an academic interest since he plays saxophone with the college jazz ensemble and clarinet with the concert band both of which raise deep questions of meaning and truth.
